Registration is now open for my Parenting Survival Group...formerly known as Summer Survival Group because, well times are pretty different these days!!
What is my Parenting Survival Group all about?
In a nutshell, this parent coaching group is all about supporting YOU and is for past participants of my Parenting the Child You Didn't Expect While You Were Expecting" offerings.
You may have envisioned this time to be glorious with your child/children playing with neighborhood kids while you tend your garden or sit in the shade or by the pool reading a book yet reality is looking more like you being annoyed by the constant questions, complaining and time spent on electronics.
You may feel helpless as it's only been a short time since summer break has started and you are wondering how on earth you are going to make it an entire summer.
You may feel guilty about this all as you hear neighbors or friends who love the loosened schedule and time spent just lazing through the days with their children.
These are all totally normal! I've had clients who had high expectations of relaxation and going with the flow of each day who found that their children needed some sort of structure and routine.
Other clients recognized their anxiety but didn't know what to do and found that before they knew it, electronics had taken over and while their children were occupied and engaged in them, they wanted something different.
I get these scenarios as I have experienced them all!! Having played with this for 8 years now, I personally use the skills, strategies, questions and tools I share to have more of what I'm wanting - ease and joy - and it has nothing to do with my son being different and everything to do with how I approach this time with him.
If you relate, join me and the other moms who get it!!
Bonus...I've cut the price in half so that it is accessible to those who are wanting and needing support and community throughout the summer!
My Summer Survival Group is for ANY parent who struggles with finding the ease, peace and joy when spending more time with their children. This is a NO judgement zone so do not worry about feeling this way or what other people think. The moms who are part of this group are just like you and we have the most wonderful, positive discussions which leave them feeling empowered to create change that will help them feel better.
"I have had the chance to participate in two of Margaret's classes and both of them have been life changing. For those of us raising differently wired kids, there aren't always a lot of other parents around us who can truly understand what we are challenged with as well as the special successes that we celebrate. Margaret has been so instrumental in helping me realize that I am not alone and that there is so much power in connecting with other moms who are also on this path. I can't say thank you enough and I will likely be working with Margaret for years to come as she is not only a coach but I also consider her a friend." ML
This virtual group is for people who need some positive plug-ins throughout the summer, to get feedback, coaching, ideas, perspective to help others know they aren't alone AND provide tools that I use and find to be extremely helpful in my own personal life.
"Having just finished Margaret's Summer Survival program I can attest to what an amazing, generous, kind and insightful coach she is! I loved her class and whole heartedly recommend this course for anyone experiencing any stress around parenting their own child, with or without special needs. She rocks!" PD
For those who don't know my background, I was an elementary school teacher who had 35 kids in my kindergarten class and taught a wide range of third grade students, particularly loving the emotionally disturbed and brilliantly gifted as they challenged me to look at things in new ways.
I am now a Master Certified Martha Beck Life Coach, Nature-Based Coach, Equus trained Coach, and parent of the BEST teacher I have for this stuff, my now 14 year old son who is on the autism spectrum, was non-verbal until he was 5, has anxiety and ADHD in addition to so many amazing talents and gifts. All of this to say that there is very little that can shock me and I feel like I can provide some nuggets of insight and inspiration wherever you are coming from.
This group goes right up to the new school year which means it will be a great opportunity to use these same skills to set up the school year and activities in ways that feel good and doable for you and your child.
"Margaret Webb’s Summer Survival and Parenting the Child classes have sustained me through parenting challenges related to my child's anxiety and ADHD. Through her classes, I’ve gained confidence in my ability to parent my son using resources around me and within myself—including nature, humor, and my own sense of what my child needs to grow and learn. Margaret’s coaching style is light-hearted, compassionate, and clear. I am so grateful to have found her!" LG
