I've been a parent coach for twelve years and love how my coaching practice has evolved and all of the different ways I get to support parents.
I am a Master Certified Martha Beck Life Coach.
I trained, apprenticed, mentored and taught as a Nature-Based Coach.
I trained as an Equus Coach. I am not certified but love teaming up with people who know horses to do this powerful work.
I was a teacher for 9 years. I taught kindergarten and third grade. My first three years of teaching kindergarten in a private school had me with 35 students in my class, I made about $15,000 a year AND I loved every minute of it!!
I've moved 15 times in the 25 years I've been married to my husband. We met in college and were 22 when we got married. We have been on quite the amazing adventure together through his years of neurosurgical training and all of the other things that life has thrown at us.
I have an 19-year old son who is nothing like I expected - he is on the autism spectrum, had apraxia of speech, didn't speak until he was 5, has anxiety and ADHD. He LOVES the work I do and takes great pride in the fact that I get to help other parents with their children.
For a while, I had forgotten who I was as a person without the labels mom, wife, friend, sister, daughter, etc. and thanks to coaching and self-inquiry, I now remember and LOVE being ME!!
Without coaching, a lot of these photos would have never occurred because I was too anxious, too controlling and too limited in what I thought was possible in my life. There isn’t an area of my life that hasn’t been helped by coaching – personal, relationships, parenting, you name it! I “live it to give it” each and every day which then allows me to help my clients. There’s nothing I love more than getting an email from a client sharing how they are using what they learn to better their lives! Pure joy for me!!
I used to hate traveling and would get very anxious at the very thought. Now, I love it and sometimes feel like I'm part of the "Austin-based flight crew" as travel has been a big part of my life as I co-lead retreats around the country and visit beautiful places with my husband. I wrote a book called "Margaret Webb's Guide to Ease and Joy in Travel" and you can find it HERE.
I love food, wine, naps, sitting outside and doing nothing, anything plaid, feeling fear and doing it anyways, laughing, having fun, traveling, and thinking about how to "better" pretty much everything I do.
I'm writing a book - "Parenting the Child You Didn't Expect While You Were Expecting - A Hero's Journey in Parenting" and am SO excited about it!!
I love connecting with people through Facebook, tele-classes and in-person workshops and retreats. Knowing that I am helping others to find ease and joy in their lives makes my heart very happy!!
