Power Questions

Power Questions

This month, I want to do something a bit different and share a list of power questions from my book, "A Hero's Journey in Parenting" that I find particularly helpful at this time of year. Whether your children are in school, homeschooling, unschooling, engaging in nature schooling, etc., maybe it's the teacher in me but this season often feels like a reset. These are my go-to questions when feeling like this, and I hope they inspire you to create more of what you want in your life.

Power Questions:
- How can I allow for a good balance of “doing” and “being” energies?
- What can I do to help my future self out?
- What works?
- What doesn’t work?
- What can I do differently next time to get a more positive result?
- Which archetype(s) would help me most in this situation? (Learn more about this in my book. It is super fun!)
- What routines could be fun to implement to create more connection with myself and my family?
- What am I wanting or needing?
- What would my self-care menu look like?
- What is perfect about this?
- What is this trying to teach me or help me practice?
- What brings me joy?
- What makes me happy to see?
- What are my favorite scents?
- What do I love to eat?
- What are some things that I love the feel of?
- What do I enjoy listening to?
- How can I improve something I’m avoiding or don’t want to do?
- Is there something I can delegate or take off my plate?
- Are there things I can let go of and not do?

I'd love to hear from you if these help you to reconnect with yourself even if in a small way. The littlest things can make a big difference in having more peace, ease and joy in your life.
